Back in the U S of f'n A

I'm home! Ahhhh I got off the plane and kissed the ground...ok thats an exagerration as always but, still, extremely happy to be back. My trip was awesome, got to visit more soldiers than I ever imagined I would and got to learn so much about the places I visited. Totally amazing experience, I mean how many people get to go to Kuwait and Saudi in the middle of the war...pretty friggin cool. They gave me these plaques and medals for doing my part in Operation Iraqi Freedom, so crazy right, that blows my mind for some reason.
Well, I can't tell you how nice it was to have my first soy latte with sugar free vanilla when I got back, had one over there but it wasn't the same, I tried to make Maria drink it and she gagged. Threw it out. Hehe, I think she might not like soy milk though. So when I got off the plane yesterday, it felt so cold in NY because I got acclimated to the 130 degree days. I met so many cool people over there, some of which are my new buds on myspace. I'm happy. Definitely an enlightening trip but fun as always. All the boys told me to drink a beer for them when I got back to the states, so on hte layover from Frankfurt to NY I had a German beer, so there ya go boys, you are in my thoughts and in my prayers and I can't wait till you all return safely. We are all thinking of you. Say a prayer for em guys...
So, now I'm back and I sleep during the day and up at night ofcourse...no but for real, I'm slowly getting adjusted again..I've been keeping massively busy, its weird, I thought I'd come home and crash the 2 days I have home before I go back to work but instead I've been running around..I'm in htis mode from being over there and being so busy. I'm getting so much done.
Yesterday I went to the Firemans Fair on Long Island, it was soooooo fun, I took pics I have to post everything from the trip still and I'll post some from the fair too, it was such a great time, we went in hte ferriss wheel and when we reached the top they stopped it and thats when the fireworks started, we got sooooo lucky. It was gorgeous and thatr was one thing I missed while I was in the Middle East, Fourth of July fireworks. Believe me, you don't wanna see things sparking in the sky out there.
Then I finally got to sleep at some ridiculous hour last night jsut sitting up after the fair and couldn't sleep. Bear with me if I'm not making sense...exhausted. You get the drift...
I'm going to have a good old fashion NY bagel for breakfast and my soy latte, leaving now so gotta run. Good morning to yall...PS thanks again for all the comments, you guys are the ones that are awesome. I love ya.
For real.
